Anzhelika Solovyeva is a doctoral candidate and researcher (Research Centre of Excellence PERICULUM) at the Institute of Political Studies, Charles University. She is also a lecturer at the Department of Security Studies. In her research, she focuses on the interplay between security and technology, with the primary focus on political construction of warfare technologies. In PERICULUM, she contributes to the centre’s research project on Security Order. As a narrative investigator, she inter alia contributed to the “Global AI Narratives” project of the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence, University of Cambridge. Her new monograph, co-authored with Prof. Nik Hynek, is “The Logic of Humanitarian Arms Control and Disarmament” (Rowman and Littlefield, 2020).
